Jan 2025 | HARTEK bags largest Solar Plant in J&K

Delhi, January 2025: Hartek Group’s, C&I Rooftop solar business unit has won complete solar EPC contract of 8 MW from Kandhari Beverages Private Limited one of the largest bottling plant of Hindustan Coca Cola. This will become Jammu & Kashmir’s largest rooftop solar installation. The project is under execution and will be commissioned this quarter. The installation will improve the region’s renewable energy capability and drastically lower the facility’s energy expenses by producing a million units a year.

“This remarkable 8 MW system is setting the standard for sustainable industrial development in Jammu & Kashmir, not merely powering a building. Notably, this is the third project awarded to Hartek by Kandhari Beverages in the past two years, bringing their total installations for the beverage company to 14 MW. The company recently bagged a 765 KV transmission power systems project from PGCIL, in the solar EPC segment, the company is currently executing a 300 MW project valued at approx. 500cr from a large IPP.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone for North India’s largest floating solar power plant, by Hartek Solar, Power and Renewable Infrastructure unit of Hartek Group. The project stands as a testament to India’s commitment to combat climate change by adopting innovative solutions in the energy sector. With a capacity of 15MW/22MWp, SJVN’s floating solar power plant is located at Nangal Pond, Himachal Pradesh is poised to provide clean energy to a significant portion of North India, contributing to the nation’s renewable energy goals and reducing carbon emissions.

The project, valued at 90 Cr is India’s first downstream solar installation on the Bhakra-Nangal Dam saving close to 657795 tonnes of CO2 emissions and producing over 33 Mn units of power output per year, showcasing Hartek Solar’s pioneering spirit in exploring innovative avenues for solar energy deployment. Leveraging its expertise in solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), Hartek Solar is successfully executing the project within the stipulated timeframe, adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.

Feb 2024 | HARTEK bags 113 Cr Order from SJVN green

Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power Systems and T&D Business unit of Hartek Group, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company, has won an order from SJVN Green Energy Limited. The project entails the development, implementation, and maintenance of a 75 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV power plant, along with a 132 kV Sub-Station, in Jamui, Bihar.

The scope of work encompasses various tasks, including land development, design and engineering. It also includes equipment procurement, testing at the manufacturer’s works, packing, forwarding, and transportation. The responsibilities extend to associated civil and electrical works as well as services, permits, licenses, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, and performance demonstration of the solar projects.

The scope is considered to include all equipment, materials, and services necessary for the satisfactory operation of the solar project. Hartek Power will supply a 132 kV Sub-Station. The project, valued at 113 Crores, is a significant stride towards bolstering the renewable energy landscape in the region.

Dec 2023 | HARTEK bags 400kV Substation order for SPRNG Energy’s 300MW Solar Plant

Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power system and T&D Business unit of Hartek Group – a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions provider, announced the successful acquisition of a significant contract from SPRNG Energy (100% owned by Shell) for the establishment of a 33kV/400kV Pooling Substation. This substation will play a crucial role in supporting a cutting-edge 300 MW Solar Power Plant at Ramsan Village, Taluka Deesa, District Banaskantha, Gujarat.

The contract with an order value of approximately 320 Million INR underscores Hartek groups prowess in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the energy sector. The collaboration with SPRNG highlights the industry’s confidence in Hartek Power’s capabilities and commitment to excellence.

Nov 2023 | HARTEK Executes 2MW Rooftop Solar Project for SML ISUZU Ltd.

Mohali, November 27th, 2023: Hartek Group, one of India’s leading Power and Renewable Infrastructure company’s renewables business unit Hartek Solar has successfully installed and commissioned a 2 MW rooftop solar project contract for SML ISUZU Ltd in Ropar, Punjab, India. This solar initiative is poised to make a substantial environmental impact by reducing approximately 65,000 Tonnes of carbon emissions, aligning with global sustainability objectives.

Hartek Solar has been involved in an extensive scope of project right from Survey, Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of the 2 MW solar pant. The entire project is spread over 2 lakh square feet area and installed over seven roofs at the SML ISUZU plant in Ropar. Remarkably, the project was completed within a 75-day timeframe, which included obtaining all the necessary government approvals and adhering to best-in-class safety protocols.

Mar 2023 | Hartek Solar bags 22 MW floating solar project from SJVN Green

31/03/2023 – Mohali, India, Hartek Solar, the renewable and solar EPC business unit of the Hartek Group, has been awarded a contract by SJVN Green Energy Limited to build a 22 MW floating solar PV power project at Nangal Pond, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. This project, upon commissioning, will become North India’s largest floating solar power plant. The Project has been awarded by SJVN Green Energy Limited which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN limited. SJVN Limited, formerly known as Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam, is an Indian public sector undertaking involved in hydroelectric power generation and transmission. The scope of the project includes complete EPC of the floating solar plant with 15 MW AC and comprehensive operation and maintenance.

The project is expected to have a DC capacity of approximately 22 MW and generate 33 million units of power output per year. This will significantly contribute to India’s decarbonization efforts and help the country achieve its renewable target of installing 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. The floating solar project is also expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 763,000 Tonnes annually, making a significant contribution to the nation-building effort.

Jan 2023 | Governor Inaugurates North India’s Largest 2 MWp Floating Solar Power Plant Built by Hartek Solar

Chandigarh, India – Today, Honorable Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, inaugurated North India’s largest 2 MWp floating solar power plant at Chandigarh. The plant was commissioned by Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST) and developed by Hartek Solar.

The floating solar power plant, situated at Water Works, sector 39, Chandigarh, will generate 28,00,000 units of electricity annually. The plant is expected to offset 80,000 Tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. This project is a major milestone in the transition to renewable energy in India and a significant step towards achieving sustainable energy goals and reducing carbon emissions in the region.

The inauguration was attended by Smt. Kirron Kher, Honourable member of Parliament, U.T. Chandigarh, Shri Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Shri Debendra Dalai, IFS, CEO, CREST, and Shri Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary, UT Chandigarh and other distinguished guests.
