About the Role
- Experienced Civil Draftsman specializing in preparing detailed civil and structural drawings for substation projects up to 132kV. Skilled in using AutoCAD to develop foundation plans, control room layouts, cable trench designs, equipment plinths, and structural reinforcement details. Adept at interpreting engineering specifications and collaborating with civil engineers and site teams to ensure accurate, code-compliant drawings that facilitate smooth construction and timely project completion. Familiar with relevant standards such as IS codes and utility-specific guidelines, and proficient in producing “as-built” documentation for project handover.
Key Responsibilites
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards in all drawings.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and efficient drafts.
- Review and modify existing drawings to reflect any changes in project scope.
- Assist in project documentation and maintain organized records of drawings.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Must have Knowledge of civil engineering principles.
- Shall visit the sites and collect inputs for preparation of drawings.
