Roles & Responsibilites
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for civil engineering activities.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure that civil engineering designs meet project requirements and comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Supervise construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress to identify and address any issues or deviations from the plan.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of civil works.
- Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure that civil works meet specified standards and project requirements.
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and completed works to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Promote a culture of safety on-site by ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and implementing safety measures and protocols.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare periodic progress reports for project stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and deviations from the plan.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams on civil engineering matters, including interpretation of design drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions to ensure smooth progress of civil works.
