Overview
- As a LT (Low Tension) Design Engineer specializing in Power Distribution Products, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing low voltage power distribution systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of electrical distribution networks, catering to diverse industrial and commercial needs. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of innovative solutions that meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop LT power distribution products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Product Specification: Define detailed specifications for LT power distribution components and systems, considering factors such as voltage ratings, current capacities, insulation requirements, and environmental conditions.
- Electrical Modeling and Simulation: Utilize simulation software tools to model and simulate the behavior of LT power distribution systems under various operating conditions, optimizing performance and efficiency.
- Component Selection: Identify and evaluate appropriate electrical components such as circuit breakers, switches, transformers, and protection devices, ensuring compatibility and reliability within the distribution network.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that LT power distribution products meet relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements, conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing appropriate safety measures.
