This role involves managing procurement strategies, guiding teams, and collaborating closely with engineering, project management, and leadership to ensure timely and compliant delivery of materials and services.

Roles & Responsibilites
Handle procurement for EHV/HV power system projects, including transformers, switchgear, cables, and associated equipment.
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with project and organizational goals.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and suppliers.
Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and timelines.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials for mission-critical infrastructure projects.
Monitor supplier performance, quality compliance, and cost effectiveness.
Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or project schedules.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support audits, documentation, and reporting related to procurement activities.
Mentor junior procurement engineers or team members, as required.
