This role supports end-to-end procurement operations, vendor management, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and delivery requirements.

Roles & Responsibilites
- Handle procurement for EHV/HV power system projects, including transformers, switchgear, cables, and associated equipment.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with project and organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and timelines.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials for mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or project schedules.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, documentation, and reporting related to procurement activities.
- Mentor junior procurement engineers or team members, as required.
