Solar Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilites

• Lead the engineering design process for solar power projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, electrical engineers, and construction teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize project efficiency.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal locations and design parameters for ground mount solar installations.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and drawings using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to analyse system performance and optimize design parameters.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
