Key Skills

Roles & Responsibilites

  • Maintain accurate records of all materials and equipment stored at the site.
  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock outs and minimize excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for ongoing projects.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and manage the receiving process.
  • Communicate any issues or delays in procurement to relevant stakeholders and propose solutions.
  • Supervise the arrangement and storage of materials in the store to ensure optimal space utilization and easy access.
  • Implement proper labelling and categorization of items to facilitate efficient retrieval.
  • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines for storing hazardous materials.
  • Process requests for materials and equipment from project teams and ensure timely issuance.
  • Maintain records of materials issued to various departments and track their usage.
  • Prepare documentation for internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.
  • Supervise storekeepers and other support staff assigned to the site store.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure adherence to store procedures and safety protocols.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve any issues related to store operations.
  • Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on store activities and address concerns raised by stakeholders.
