Hartek executes 2 MW Rooftop Solar Project for SML ISUZU Ltd.

Mohali, November, 27th, 2023: Hartek Group, one of India’s leading Power and Renewable Infrastructure company’s renewables business unit Hartek Solar has successfully installed and commissioned 2 MW rooftop solar project contract for SML ISUZU Ltd in Ropar, Punjab, India. This solar initiative is poised to make a substantial environmental impact by reducing approximately 65,000 tonnes of carbon emissions, aligning with global sustainability objectives.

 

Hartek Solar has been involved in an extensive scope of project right from Survey, Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of the 2 MW solar pant. The entire project  is spread over 2 lakh square feet area, and installed over seven roofs  at the SML ISUZU plant in Ropar. Remarkably, the project was completed within a 75-day timeframe, which included obtaining all the necessary government approvals and adhering to best-in-class safety protocols.

 

This milestone project represents a major leap forward in the adoption of clean energy sources. It not only promises to cut down on electricity expenses but also fosters the sustainable future that we all aspire to achieve. Through the utilization of solar energy, SML ISUZU is set to reap the benefits of reduced electricity costs while actively contributing to the reduction of its carbon footprint.
