Aug 2022 | Hartek Solar Installs Rooftop Solar Project at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali

Mohali, Punjab 27th August: Hartek Solar Private Limited, One of India’s Top 10 rooftop solar companies, has completed the setting up of a 50 KW solar power plant at Yadavindra Public School (YPS), Mohali, the most renowned educational institution in Chandigarh Tricity.  The project was an add-on to the already existing solar plant of 100KW, taking the total renewable energy capacity of the institution to 150 KW.

The entire plant has been built with mono-perc technology and is said to be one of the largest installations of solar in the Northern Region schools. The project will collectively generate over 2 lakh units of clean electricity saving electricity costs of over 20 lakh INR every year. Besides, the institution will contribute to environmental protection by offsetting 3,375 Tonnes of Carbon Dioxide emissions per annum which is equivalent to saving 3,835 trees.

Speaking on behalf of YPS School, its Director, Maj. Gen. Waraich said, “As schools are implementing the latest technologies to impart education and increase awareness about contemporary issues such as environmental pollution and sustainable future, we have gone a step further and implemented what we teach to our students. The installation of solar panels in our school will no doubt save our electricity bills but more than that it will save our environment as well as convey to our students and their parents that we practice what we teach. It is also heartening to say that Simarpreet Singh, CEO & Executive Director of Hartek Group is an alumnus of our school. We wish him success in his endeavors.”

The project is covered under the Net Metering Scheme of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). Under this scheme, the surplus energy is fed into the grid, and the institution is suitably compensated by deducting equivalent units from their electricity bill.

Jun 2022 | HARTEK Supplies 352 Nos Low Voltage Panels (800v) For 250 MW Solar Project

10th June, 2022 – Hartek India Private Limited (HIPL), the power distribution product manufacturing unit of Hartek Group, has successfully designed, supplied, and commissioned 352 Low Voltage (LV) panels (800V), specially engineered for solar applications in a 250 MW solar project.

Hartek-manufactured LV 800V panels have successfully passed Type Tests conducted by the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) in accordance with IEC Standard 61439. These tests included Temperature Rise, IP55, and Impulse Withstand assessments.

The panels carry an IEC-standardized IP55 (outdoor) rating, offering robust protection against dust particles and a high level of water resistance. All panels are manufactured in compliance with stringent quality guidelines, ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and optimal productivity for solar power plants.

The manufacturing division of Hartek Group produces a complete range of electrical switchboard panels — including 415V, 800V, 11kV, and 33kV — for diverse applications such as solar plants, industrial power distribution, utilities, and building infrastructure. Additionally, the division manufactures control relay panels at its facilities located in Mohali, Punjab.

June 2022 | Hartek Powered Birbudda Sahib Gurudwara with 520kw Rooftop Solar

31st June 2022, Gurdwara Bir Baba Budda Sahib Ji, Amritsar. Hartek Solar Power Limited (HSPL), A solar division unit of HARTEK Group has successfully commissioned a 500 KW capacity of Solar Power Plant at Gurudwara Bir Baba Budda Sahib, Amritsar here on Tuesday. Siromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) President Harjinder Singh Dhami was the Chief Guest for the event who inaugurated the much-awaited project along with the other delegate members. The ceremony started with an Ardaas (Prayer) followed by a curtain ceremony and Langer Sewa.

President Harjinder Singh Ji congratulated Hartek Team for successful and timely completion of the project. This is a third consecutive installation by HSPL after huge 525 KW project at the holiest Sikh Shrine- Shri Harimandir Sahib Ji and 78 KW setup at Baba Deep Singh Ji Gurudwara.

It will help to generate over 7,00,000 units annually and save Gurudwara’s 85-90 % of electricity bill. Also reducing Carbon Dioxide emission (CO2) up to 2000 tons per year.

25th May 2022- The Power system Business unit of Hartek Group, Hartek Power Private Limited has bagged yet another prestigious order from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. 

The Engineering, Procurement, Construction major, Hartek Power has bagged a 400/ 220 KV order from PGCIL. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing and testing at manufacture’s work, supply of all equipment which includes extension, augmentation of 400/220KV substation spread across various sites in India. The Project value is around 500 million inr.

US based NGO, United Sikh Mission awarded this project to Hartek Solar

This solar power plant will offset around 2,000 Tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

Hartek Solar Pvt Ltd, the rooftop solar division of the Chandigarh-based Hartek Group, one of the top solar rooftop installers in India, has installed a 525 KW capacity solar power plant in the holiest of Sikh shrines, Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as Golden Temple, in Amritsar. The scope of work of the project included complete site survey, design, engineering, supply and construction of the solar plant in Amritsar. This project was awarded to Hartek Solar by a US based NGO, United Sikh Mission.  The solar PV project will generate more than 7,40,000 units of clean electricity every year, thus offsetting around 2,000 Tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. United Sikh Mission has also awarded Hartek Solar with a 78 KW solar power plant at Gurudwara Baba Deep Singh and a 600 KW solar power plant in Gurdwara Bir Baba Budha Sahib.
