Aug 2015 | Hartek Power Completes 40 MW Project in Madhya Pradesh

November 20, 2015: The Chandigarh-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company Hartek Power today said it has successfully commissioned a 40-MW substation project near Banmore in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh.

The project, executed for Amba Shakti Group at a cost of around Rs 7 crore, involved complete design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 132-KV bay government substation and a 132/11 KV pooling station with two 20 MVA transformers, said a company statement here.

“In talks with leading solar developers, we are looking at connecting another 100 MW of solar power to the grid soon,” said Hartek Singh, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Hartek Group.

Hartek Power, which is currently executing various substation orders worth about Rs 60 crore, had recently bagged an order from Azure Power to provide electrification, automation and substation solutions for solar power projects of 113 MW spread across five states, the statement said

July 1, 2015: “The company has commissioned three substations on complete EPC basis for 38-MW solar power projects worth about Rs 220 crore in Punjab and Chhattisgarh in the first quarter of financial year 2015- 16,” Hartek Power said in a statement.

The Chandigarh-based company has commissioned two substations in Punjab, including a 66/11-KV substation for a 4-MW solar plant in Hoshiarpur for Aditya Medisales (Sun Pharma Group) and a 66/11-KV substation for a 4-MW solar project in Nabha awarded to Earth Solar.

Hartek Power is holding final-stage talks for executing substations for close to 200-MW solar projects in India in the current financial year.

Having constructed more than 100 substations in the past seven years, Hartek Power is operating projects in 17 states across the country. The company has also won substation orders worth Rs 60 crore from various state electricity boards, which will be executed in the current financial year.
