Aug 2023 | Hartek Group wins E-House Power Substation Mandate worth 250 Million

Mohali, August 08, 2023: Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power Systems and T&D Business unit of Hartek Group, a leading engineering, procurement, construction company, has joined hands with TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL), a joint venture by TATA Power and Odisha Distribution Limited, for a mandate of two new 33/11 KV E-House/ containerized type Power Substations worth 250 Million INR on a turnkey basis. The orders entail the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the two substations in the Western Odisha region.

Under the 33/11 KV E-House mandate, the brand will implement substations that offer rapid deployment, space-saving benefits and cost-effective solutions due to their pre-engineered, factory-assembled design. These substations are equipped to adapt to changing power demands and boast mobility for easy relocation. Enhanced safety features ensure secure operation, while their integration with advanced monitoring systems enhances power management and grid resilience, making them a versatile and efficient solution for various power supply needs.

TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited has selected Hartek Power for this significant project owing to the company’s strong expertise and consistent track record in executing high-quality power infrastructure projects across India. The substations are an integral part of the infrastructure development plans in the region and will help meet the increasing energy demands of Western Odisha. The project will encompass the supply and installation of all necessary equipment and components required for efficient and reliable power distribution.

June, 2023 | Hartek Foundation Celebrates World Blood Donor Day with a Successful Blood Donation Camp

The Hartek Foundation and YGPT launched the effort to bring together young people for a worthy cause and raise awareness of World Blood Donor Day

Mohali, 14 June 2023: Hartek Foundation, in collaboration with Youth for Global Peace and Transformation (YGPT), successfully organized a blood donation camp to commemorate World Blood Donor Day. The event took place at Hartek Towers, Mohali and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 100 generous individuals who selflessly donated blood to save lives.

The esteemed Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Kuljit Singh Bedi, the Deputy Mayor of Mohali. His presence added immense motivation and encouragement to the event and its attendees. Mr. Bedi, addressing the attendees, shared inspiring words and presented medals and certificates to the blood donors as a token of appreciation for their invaluable contribution.

Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Mr. Kuljit Singh Bedi said, “I am truly impressed by the overwhelming response to this blood donation camp organized by Hartek Foundation and YGPT with a vision to empower youth. Apr 2023 | Hartek Power commissions 400kV reactor at PSTCL substation in Dhuri, Punjab

Mohali, 14 April 2023 – Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power systems business unit of Hartek Group and one of India’s Top 10 engineering, procurement, and construction EPC companies, has successfully completed the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 400kV / 125 MVAr reactor at the 400/220 kV substation in Dhuri, Punjab on 30 March 2023, well within the stipulated timeline.

The commissioning of a 125 MVAr / 400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, along with the construction of an allied bay including the civil work, was a significant achievement for the company. The scope of work for the project included a turnkey package for the supply and commissioning of a 125 MVAr / 400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, along with the construction of an allied bay including the civil work.

The company has demonstrated exceptional expertise in the power sector by successfully commissioning three reactors back-to-back. The first reactor commissioned was the 220 kV / 25 MVAr Dhuri plant, followed by the commissioning of the second reactor at the 220 kV / 25 MVAr at the Nakodar plant, and finally, the 400 kV / 125 MVAr reactor at the Dhuri plant at PSTCL.

Mar 2023 | Hartek Foundation Honours Women’s Day by Empowering Women of Bakarpur Village with Healthcare and Financial Education

Bakarpur Pind, Mohali district – March 10, 2023 – In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Hartek Foundation hosted a special event for the women of Bakarpur village, a village adopted by the foundation. The event was aimed at empowering women by providing them with access to healthcare and financial knowledge, while also commemorating the achievements and contributions of women around the world.

The event was graced by Dr. Sarbjeet Paik, MBBS, who conducted one-on-one counseling sessions on women’s health and hygiene. She provided the women with valuable advice on how to take care of themselves and their families and offered guidance on how to access healthcare services in the region.

In addition, Mr. MK Bhardwaj, LDM, Punjab National Bank, conducted an educational session on the latest banking and government schemes that support women and girl children. He highlighted the various financial products and services available to women and explained how they can benefit from them.

As a token of appreciation for their participation, all women were provided with calcium tablets and medicinal plants. These were intended to encourage them to take care of their health and well-being, and to remind them of the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.

Jan, 2023 | Governor Inaugurates North India’s Largest 2 MWp Floating Solar Power Plant Built by Hartek Solar

Chandigarh, India – Today, Honorable Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, inaugurated North India’s largest 2 MWp floating solar power plant at Chandigarh. The plant was commissioned by Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST) and developed by Hartek Solar.

The floating solar power plant, situated at Water Works, sector 39, Chandigarh, will generate 28,00,000 units of electricity annually. The plant is expected to offset 80,000 Tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. This project is a major milestone in the transition to renewable energy in India and a significant step towards achieving sustainable energy goals and reducing carbon emissions in the region.

The inauguration was attended by Smt. Kirron Kher, Honourable member of Parliament, U.T. Chandigarh, Shri Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Shri Debendra Dalai, IFS, CEO, CREST, and Shri Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary, UT Chandigarh and other distinguished guests.

4th January 2023, Mohali: Simarpreet Singh, Executive Director, Hartek Group, has been awarded the Pride of India here in Chicago, USA, by GSA@75 India. He has been recognized for his work in Clean Energy and Sustainability. He was also named in the Prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2019 for his work in Hartek Solar and Hartek India.

The three-day expo organized by GSA India @ 75 Expo showcased India’s 75 years of multi-dimensional progress and its rich tradition, alongside Celebrating the #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav, which showcased the paradigm of Spectacular India at a grand stage representing India’s rich diversity and inclusiveness to the world. It honoured 75 Indians as the Pride of India who are doing excellent work in their respective field.

Nov 2022 | Hartek Power Bags 220kv Substation Order From Madhav Krg Group

22nd November 2022, Mohali. Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power System and T&D Business unit of Hartek Group and one of India’s largest and fastest-growing EPC companies, has bagged a significant order from the largest steel manufacturing enterprise in the region Madhav KRG Group.

Madhav KRG Group is a fully integrated, high-end steel manufacturing organization and is one of the leading TMT bars, Galvanized Rebars, MS pipes, Tempcore TMT Rebars, and Tube manufacturers in India.

Being named among India’s top 10 most promising EPC companies, Hartek Power bagged the order of 220/33 KV from Madhav KRG Group. The scope of work includes Design, Supply, Construction, Project Management, Testing, and Commissioning of the entire 220/33 KV switchyard on a turnkey basis. The Project value is around INR 222 million.

Oct 2022 | Hartek Solar to Build 2mw Floating Solar Plant, Foundation Stone Laid by President of India

Chandigarh, October 10, 2022: Hartek Solar, the rooftop solar division of Hartek group and India’s top 10 rooftop solar company, has bagged an order for a 2000 KW Floating Solar Plant from Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST).

The Foundation stone for the Project was laid down by the Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji on 9th October 2022 in Chandigarh.

The 2MW floating solar plant is claimed to be the largest floating solar power plant to set up in North India. The plant will be situated at Sector 39 Water Works, that supplies water to the entire Chandigarh city. This 2000 KW project will generate 28,00,000 units of electricity per year and will contribute to saving 80000 Tonnes of CO2.

On this occasion, Executive Director and CEO of Hartek Group, Mr. Simarpreet Singh, said “It is a matter of honour and pride that the foundation stone has been laid by the Hon’ble President of India.
