Apr 2023 | Hartek Power commissions 400kV reactor at PSTCL substation in Dhuri, Punjab

14/04/2023 – Mohali, India – Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power system business unit of Hartek Group and one of India’s Top 10 engineering, procurement, and construction EPC companies, has successfully completed the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 400kV / 125 MVAr reactor at the 400/220 kV substation in Dhuri, Punjab on 30 March 2023, well within the stipulated timeline.

The commissioning of a 125 MVAr / 400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, along with the construction of an allied bay including the civil work, was a significant achievement for the company. The scope of work for the project included a turnkey package for the supply and commissioning of a 125 MVAr / 400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, along with the construction of an allied bay including the civil work.

The company has demonstrated exceptional expertise in the power sector by successfully commissioning three reactors back-to-back. The first reactor commissioned was the 220 kV / 25 MVAr Dhuri plant, followed by the commissioning of the second reactor at the 220 kV / 25 MVAr at the Nakodar plant, and finally, the 400 kV / 125 MVAr reactor at the Dhuri plant at PSTCL.

Mar 2023 | Hartek Foundation Honours Women’s Day by Empowering Women of Bakarpur Village with Healthcare and Financial Education

Bakarpur Pind, Mohali district – March 10, 2023 – In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Hartek Foundation hosted a special event for the women of Bakarpur village, a village adopted by the foundation. The event was aimed at empowering women by providing them with access to healthcare and financial knowledge, while also commemorating the achievements and contributions of women around the world.

The event was graced by Dr. Sarbjeet Paik, MBBS, who conducted one-on-one counseling sessions on women’s health and hygiene. She provided the women with valuable advice on how to take care of themselves and their families and offered guidance on how to access healthcare services in the region.

In addition, Mr. MK Bhardwaj, LDM, Punjab National Bank, conducted an educational session on the latest banking and government schemes that support women and girl children. He highlighted the various financial products and services available to women and explained how they can benefit from them.

Jan, 2023 | Governor Inaugurates North India’s Largest 2 MWp Floating Solar Power Plant Built by Hartek Solar

Chandigarh, India – Today, Honorable Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, inaugurated North India’s largest 2 MWp floating solar power plant at Chandigarh. The plant was commissioned by Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST) and developed by Hartek Solar.

The floating solar power plant, situated at Water Works, sector 39, Chandigarh, will generate 28,00,000 units of electricity annually. The plant is expected to offset 80,000 Tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. This project is a major milestone in the transition to renewable energy in India and a significant step towards achieving sustainable energy goals and reducing carbon emissions in the region.

The inauguration was attended by Smt. Kirron Kher, Honourable member of Parliament, U.T. Chandigarh, Shri Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Shri Debendra Dalai, IFS, CEO, CREST, and Shri Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary, UT Chandigarh and other distinguished guests.

Nov 2022 | Hartek Power Bags 220kv Substation Order From Madhav Krg Group

22nd November 2022, Mohali. Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power System and T&D Business unit of Hartek Group and one of India’s largest and fastest-growing EPC companies, has bagged a significant order from the largest steel manufacturing enterprise in the region Madhav KRG Group.

Madhav KRG Group is a fully integrated, high-end steel manufacturing organization and is one of the leading TMT bars, Galvanized Rebars, MS pipes, Tempcore TMT Rebars, and Tube manufacturers in India.

Being named among India’s top 10 most promising EPC companies, Hartek Power bagged the order of 220/33 KV from Madhav KRG Group. The scope of work includes Design, Supply, Construction, Project Management, Testing, and Commissioning of the entire 220/33 KV switchyard on a turnkey basis. The Project value is around INR 222 million.

Oct 2022 | Hartek Solar to Build 2mw Floating Solar Plant, Foundation Stone Laid by President of India

Hartek Solar, the rooftop solar division of Hartek group and India’s top 10 rooftop solar company, has bagged an order for a 2000 KW Floating Solar Plant from Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST).

The Foundation stone for the Project was laid down by the Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji on 9th October 2022 in Chandigarh.

The 2MW floating solar plant is claimed to be the largest floating solar power plant to set up in North India. The plant will be situated at Sector 39 Water Works, that supplies water to the entire Chandigarh city. This 2000 KW project will generate 28,00,000 units of electricity per year and will contribute to saving 80000 Tonnes of CO2.

On this occasion, Director and CEO of Hartek Solar, Mr. Simarpreet Singh, said “It is a matter of honour and pride that the foundation stone has been laid by the Hon’ble President of India. Aug, 2022 | Hartek Solar Installs Rooftop Solar Project at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali

Mohali, Punjab 27th August: Hartek Solar Private Limited, One of India’s Top 10 rooftop solar companies, has completed the setting up of a 50 KW solar power plant at Yadavindra Public School (YPS), Mohali, the most renowned educational institution in Chandigarh Tricity.  The project was an add-on to the already existing solar plant of 100KW, taking the total renewable energy capacity of the institution to 150 KW.

The entire plant has been built with mono-perc technology and is said to be one of the largest installations of solar in the Northern Region schools. The project will collectively generate over 2 lakh units of clean electricity saving electricity costs of over 20 lakh INR every year. Besides, the institution will contribute to environmental protection by offsetting 3,375 Tonnes of Carbon Dioxide emissions per annum which is equivalent to saving 3,835 trees.

Speaking on behalf of YPS School, its Director, Maj. Gen. Waraich said, “As schools are implementing the latest technologies to impart education and increase awareness about contemporary issues such as environmental pollution and sustainable future, we have gone a step further and implemented what we teach to our students. The installation of solar panels in our school will no doubt save our electricity bills but more than that it will save our environment as well as convey to our students and their parents that we practice what we teach. It is also heartening to say that Simarpreet Singh, CEO of Hartek Solar is an alumnus of our school. We wish him success in his endeavors.”
